Philosophy of Life from a Cat’s Perspective

Philosophy of life – Johnny narrows his eyes in the afternoon
Philosophy of life, Abyssinian cat Johnny has one, too. You wanna hear the secret of a successful life? Everyone is always seeking better time, better life. Well, it’s pretty easy, eat good food with beloved ones, have a good night’s sleep (you can take a nap during the day, too) and let things go. What else you want in life? Don’t be mesmerized by a word “philosophy”, it’s about doing what pleases your loved ones and yourself.
Table of Content
1. Staying in the Middle
Not too hot, not too cold. It is always good to go right in the middle. You just watch yourself, how your emotion changes in each circumstance.
You might find it too difficult to look at yourself while you are in the storm, but here is the truth. You can’t be angry all the time, you can’t be laughing all the time. Any emotion doesn’t last.
So you are naturally balanced in the middle. Luther Vandross sings it right[1].
2. Moderate is Gold
Too much heat kills and too much coldness kills, but the moderate warmth makes everyone’s heart warm and smile.
And everyone, including you, want your heart to be touched and warmed up.
Your warmth can be felt by your smile and kind manners. Be kind to yourself as you do with others.
3. Rolling Stone
You can change your mind anytime you like. Why care about other people’s opinion that much? Yes, I know people needs “approval” from others.
Well, but you are an alive creature. You live and you change. So do your ideas and consciousness.
Like the flow of the river never stop, you are always growing. So be with the change.
4. Perfect Rest
Treat yourself with care. Put your body onto the nice clean bed and rest yourself for a while. Taking a nap will do too.
When you feel uptight, it’s a good sign to take a break. Know your rhythm.
Well, me? It’s been a perfect day to relax on a bean bag couch. Had enough nap, but I could take more of it if you insist.
5. Empty Mind
Hey, it’s a shame that your mind is full of list what you have to do. And it’s sad that you feel guilty relaxing.
Why don’t you bask yourself in the sunshine through the window even at the office? Before you get online, get connected with nature first.
It’s easy, close your eyes and be surrounded by nature in your heart. Me? Gotta run for hunting bugs. They come in as the temperature rising.
Oh, here it comes a big fry! It’s going to be so much fun! No time to think!
What’s your philosophy of life? It’s all about you decide what does matter and what doesn’t to you.
Well, aside from the deep thought of life, what will be tonight’s dinner? That’s the concern for now.
