As you approach this cafe, you may find one or two cats sleeping at the windows.
You open the front door, Lenny, the owner will welcome you if you are lucky. You see the small kitchen attached to the entrance and they prepare most of the food here. Lenny is very kind and helpful to every guest.
She or other staff tell you the house rules such as not to pick cats up, not to feed them, not to take a picture with flash, very simple ones you can follow.
After you sanitize your hands with gel, you go inside
the cat paradise. You’ll be pleasantly amazed at its cleanliness and brightness.
Simple and well-designed, decorated cozy room let you feel nice and comfortable. There are three cool cat towers where cats can climb, and a lot of apparatus which cats can play with on the wall and on the floor as well.
It makes you feel as if you were invited to come to your old good friend’s house for a lovely afternoon. Max 20 people can stay for two hours with 3 euros.
8 residents cats who had been adapted from two shelters are lounging in this room.
As it’s said cats sleep roughly 16 hours a day, you’ll likely to see them taking a nap or lounging on a chair, on a cat tree, or at the window.
Each cat has a different personality, but all of them have a moderate temperament. But you want to be careful with your food because some of them may aggressively come after you once you put your food down below your knee.
You can enjoy various cat books (mostly in Dutch) and visual books on the shelf. This place is filled with cat-motif objects very well arranged.
Cats may come under your feet as they please and you can take pictures of them. Staff provides you good coffee and delicious sweets, which makes your time here more enjoyable while you are being around cats sharing good vibes, warm love for cats.
This once used to be a bar, now is a small but a delightful place, you want to invite your friend over and spend lovely morning or afternoon together.
